Consolidating 2 itunes libraries
If your music collection has spiraled out of control across the cloud, then it’s time to consolidate it.
We will show you how to take music across three of the more popular cloud music services — Amazon Music, Google Play Music, and Xbox Music — and consolidate them into the most popular music manager, i Tunes.
Question 1: "Hi, I have some files that contain more music than others.
How do I get these songs in my Current i Tunes Library?
" Question 2: "Hi, I have some music files that are not included in the i Tunes media folder.
How can I consolidate i Tunes library to save these music files into the i Tunes media folder?
You will, of course, need the computer your i Tunes library is currently on.
(for the subcrates folder in _Serato_B / _Serato_C etc you’ll want to open the folder and just copy the .crate files across into this folder)folder from _Serato_A to the new _Serato_ folder.
You’ll want to create a new, ‘Master’ _Serato_ folder to which all info from the other libraries will be copied.
Easiest way to do this is to open then close Serato DJ after you’ve renamed the _Serato_ folder on the internal hard drive of the computer you’re working on (This is to rule out the possibility of any corrupt files within the _Serato_ folder causing issues with your new, most likely much larger library) Serato DJ will build some (but not all) of the required folders when launched, some folders are built as they are needed.
After decades of digital music, it's not unlikely if you've amassed quite the collection of music on your computer's hard drive.
If your i Tunes library is taking up too much space, you can move it off of your local drive and onto an external hard drive without breaking your music collection.
